Job Description:
Job Responsibilities
- Be the point of contact for customers quality issues, primarily in the ASEAN region and India.
- Manage customer support portals and respond to quality related inquiries on products, quality and manufacturing processes from customers.
- Serve as the “voice of the customer” internally; coordinate & resolve customer incidents and respond back to the customers with the results (e.g., 8D report, risk assessment, RMA, etc.).
- Drive timely analysis and closure of customer issues & requests.
- Support and follow-through customer audits or visits. May need overseas travel.
- Work with global cross functional teams to ensure products meet customer requirements and compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO), regulatory requirements, PCNs.
- Prepare and organize quality-related training for distributors and internal parties.
- Review and revision of customer orientated reports such as failure analysis (FA) reports.
- Participate & initiate benchmarking programs to determine best in class.
- Participate in business / quality reviews and customer meetings as required.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Electronic Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in quality engineering and semiconductor manufacturing (wafer fabrication or IC assembly)
- Relevant training and/or knowledge of VDA6.3, IATF16949, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Experience and/or understanding of Quality Tools, 8D, FMEA, AEC-Q100, PPAP, RoHS..etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Proficient in spoken & written English.
Preferred Skills:
- Technical expertise: application or system level experience.
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Knowledge & understanding of quality assurance.
- Previous semiconductor market experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of the semiconductor process: Wafer fab &/or Assembly &/or Test, FA Lab.
- Knowledge of Quality problem solving: 8D approach and similar
