Job Summary
The Customer Master & Pricing Specialist is the data champion for the Customer Master and local Customer Pricing residing in Masimo’s ERP system. The position will be responsible for setting up new accounts and local contract related customer pricing within the ERP system and will ensure the integrity, reliability and quality of the customer master and pricing data. The position will ensure that controls on pricing are operating effectively and will recommend and implement changes to these controls when needed. He or she will validate that any pricing exceptions are correct and properly approved. The role is pivotal to the accuracy of a wide variety of customer reporting needs and integration of customer and pricing data throughout the company.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Recommend improvements to processes and controls. Document and provide training on these as needed
- Implement policies and controls designed to ensure that enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure and reliable
- Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction procedures.
- Lead or collaborate with other Masimo functions to determine best practices for Master Data management e.g. Account naming conventions, customer hierarchies, data standards and guidelines etc.
- Facilitate in data integration projects related to Customer Master & Pricing data
- Monitor and provide regular metrics on data quality e.g. pricing errors
- Ensure data consistency between Customer Master data & Pricing data in Masimo’s ERP system and other systems
- Set up new accounts and customer pricing within Masimo’s ERP system.
- Lead initiatives to identify and de-activate duplicate or dormant accounts
- Validate customer master data with EDI service provider to ensure accuracy of EDI transactions.
- Verify all price exceptions and ensure that they are properly approved.
- Validate the authenticity of new customer accounts to prevent fraudulent accounts
- Undertake periodic reviews of the accuracy of customer master metadata such as shipping terms and business types
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in a customer data management role in a large organization is highly desirable
- Strong Excel skills and ERP systems skills are required.
- Significant experience using Order & Sales modules in ERP systems.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM applications is desirable
- Process orientated with proven problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills required to be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to manage in a fast paced environment
- Experience with contract interpretation and analysis required.
- Experience in medical device or healthcare industry would be a plus
Education
Bachelor's or equivalent degree, in Business or related field is required.
Compensation
The anticipated Hourly Rate range for this position is $25-32 Per Hour plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.
Physical requirements/Work EnvironmentThis position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.
