About you and this role

We are looking for a Senior Sales professional to lead Dow’s Polyurethanes (PU) commercial strategy in Brazil. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role for someone energized by opening opportunities, growing strategic accounts, expanding market share, and turning differentiated solutions into measurable revenue and margin growth.

As the commercial owner for the business, you will shape sales strategy, build a robust opportunity pipeline, lead complex negotiations, and deepen executive-level customer relationships. You will be the face of Dow in the PU market—connecting customer needs with Dow’s portfolio and mobilizing internal teams to deliver sustainable, value-based growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales strategy and commercial execution for the Polyurethanes business in Brazil.

  • Deliver sustainable revenue, volume, margin, and market-share growth across strategic accounts and priority segments.

  • Develop account strategies and growth plans for key customers, with clear priorities, targets, and actions.

  • Establish trusted relationships with customer decision-makers, influencers, industry leaders, and strategic partners.

  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and close agreements through value-based selling—not price-only discussions.

  • Translate market intelligence, competitive dynamics, and customer insights into actionable sales opportunities.

  • Position Dow as a preferred partner by articulating compelling value propositions and business outcomes.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Technical Service, Product Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance to deliver on customer commitments and commercial objectives.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, portfolio insights, and commercial recommendations to support strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • At least five years of experience in B2B sales, commercial, account management, or technical sales roles; experience in chemicals, polyurethanes, or industrial markets is highly valued.

  • Demonstrated success growing strategic accounts, developing new business, and leading negotiations with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing, margin, forecasting, and portfolio decisions.

  • Fluency in English, with strong written, verbal, and executive-level presentation skills.

Your Skills:

  • Sales drive and strong results orientation

  • Customer and market development mindset

  • Strategic account planning and opportunity management

  • Value selling, influencing, and negotiation

  • Commercial judgment and analytical thinking

  • Executive presence and confident communication

  • Initiative, prioritization, and disciplined follow-through
