Your Role at Impact:

As a Customer Engineering & Technical Services Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with Impact.com’s technology platform while working on key projects related to data analytics, internal solutions, and technical support. You will assist with troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing data processes, and supporting internal teams with actionable insights. This role will also provide exposure to customer solutions, helping clients integrate and troubleshoot technical implementations.

We are looking for analytical thinkers with a data-driven mindset who are comfortable working with SQL, APIs, and data visualization tools like Looker to build queries, generate reports, and troubleshoot technical issues. If you are eager to apply your data analytics, problem-solving, and technical consulting skills in a real-world setting while gaining hands-on experience with a leading SaaS partnership management platform, this six month internship is for you!

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in analyzing and troubleshooting data discrepancies to ensure platform reliability.
  • Develop SQL queries to analyze large datasets and generate insights.
  • Build and maintain Looker dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable data to internal teams and clients.
  • Connect multiple data sources to create scalable, automated reporting solutions.
  • Support internal teams by investigating technical issues and recommending solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity by validating and cross-checking queries.
  • Collaborate with Customer Solutions, Implementations, Onboarding, and Customer Success teams to align on reporting needs and internal process improvements.
  • Work on data analytics projects, extracting insights to improve operational efficiency and customer experiences.
  • Learn to work with APIs and data processing tools to support integrations and data flows.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of technical issues, including troubleshooting, root cause identification, issue resolution, and communication.
  • Assist in creating technical documentation and internal knowledge-sharing resources.

What You Have:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying, analyzing, and optimizing datasets.
  • Experience with Looker or other data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Ability to connect multiple data sources to create comprehensive dashboards that support internal teams.
  • Familiarity with APIs and their role in data integrations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Interest in technical enablement, internal data support, and business analytics.
