Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for self-driven talent who having positive attitude, willingness to learn new technologies, and openness to challenges even facing pressure. The main focus of application engineer job duties and required skills listed as below:
- Responsible for providing technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA wafer metrology or inspection products in customer fabrication facilities. Good communication and leadership ability to collaborate with customers is required.
- Be responsible for acceptance test, customers training, recipe setup, project execution, and related pre-sales activities.
- Assists sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs.
- Provides follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications.
- Ability to manage and resolve challenging situations while aligning with multiple stakeholder.
- Be able to generate technical report to deliver clear and correct message to customers.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience or knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn new technologies, and openness to challenges
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Traveling to customer sites is required.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Level Degree in Material Science, Chemical, Electrical, Electro-optical, or other semiconductor related Dept. New college graduate or at least 2 years of experience in a related technical field is preferred
