WHO WE NEED:
We are looking for a Customer Education Supervisor at HCSS who will be responsible for managing the instructional designers and the Learning Systems Analyst. Additionally, this position will be responsible for analyzing data on customer adoption and the impact of HCSS's educational programs on customer adoption, churn, and time to value. The Customer Education Supervisor will use data analysis to direct the instructional designers in creating new training materials and improving existing ones to best meet the needs of HCSS's customers. The individual will also ensure that HCSS's training programs are consistent with its overall product development strategy.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the instructional designers and the Learning Systems Analyst.
  • Analyze data on customer adoption, churn, and time to value to direct the instructional designers in updating and creating new training materials.
  • Use data analysis to inform training program strategy set by the Director of Education Services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess training needs and design effective, engaging, and instructionally sound training programs.
  • Ensure that all training materials are consistent with HCSS's overall product development strategy.
  • Collaborate with departments in the organization to ensure alignment on strategies and initiatives.
  • Develop roadmaps that push forward organizational and departmental strategy. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers to gather feedback on training materials and incorporate that feedback into future iterations.
  • Manage HCSS's learning management system and ensure that it is functioning optimally. Monitor the effectiveness of HCSS's training programs and make suggestions for improvements or changes where necessary.
  • Work with the sales and support teams to ensure training materials are aligned with customer needs.
  • Provide guidance to instructional designers on effective instructional design practices.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field would be a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in developing instructional materials with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Advanced knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and best practices.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex information.
  • Broad knowledge of construction industry processes and workflows to accurately communicate software functionality.
  • Experience with content management systems, learning management systems, and SCORM compliance.
  • Experience with gamification, simulations and immersive learning techniques.
  • Able to mentor, train, and develop instructional designers.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools, such as Excel, Tableau or Amplitude.
  • Ability to communicate complex data and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
