As the CDP Product Owner, you will be the driving force behind the strategic development, optimization, and governance of our Customer Data Platform (CDP). Your mission is to unlock the full potential of our consumer data, enabling personalized, data-driven marketing experiences across all channels. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, data teams, and technology partners, ensuring our CDP delivers measurable value to both our consumers and the organization.
CDP Strategy & RoadmapDefine and execute the vision and roadmap for the CDP, aligning with business objectives and customer experience goals.
Identify opportunities to enhance data collection, profiling, segmentation, and activation capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features and initiatives that drive business impact.
Serve as the primary liaison between marketing, ecom teams, data science, and external vendors to ensure alignment on CDP capabilities and use cases.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the CDP, working closely with data engineers and architects.
Advocate for the CDP’s value across the organization, fostering adoption and best practices.
Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure compliance, accuracy, and consistency of customer data.
Establish and nurture central principles and guardrails for the core customer model and main segments.
Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Lead the end-to-end delivery of CDP features, from ideation to launch, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and testing.
Optimize the CDP for performance, scalability, and usability, leveraging analytics and user feedback.
Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and trends in customer data management.
Define KPIs and success metrics for the CDP, tracking and reporting on its impact on marketing effectiveness and customer engagement.
Conduct regular audits and analyses to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
Experience: 5+ years in product ownership, data management, or marketing technology, with a focus on CDPs, CRM systems, or data platforms.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with CDP tools (e.g., Hightouch, Salesforce CDP, Segment, Tealium) and data integration technologies (APIs, ETL processes).
Data Literacy: Strong understanding of data modeling, segmentation, and analytics, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a track record of delivering complex projects.
