Ensure drivers comply with the full rider gear requirement.
Ensure drivers operate Uber-branded electric bikes that are visible to clients.
Monitor and enforce adherence to road safety rules and traffic laws.
Conduct routine alcohol testing on drivers to prevent riding under the influence.
Prevent intoxicated drivers from operating motorcycles and coordinate with the Emergency Response Team (ERT) to:
Provide guidance and education to drivers on compliance issues.
Recommend disciplinary action to the Compliance Manager for repeat offenders or serious violations.
Ensure that drivers are riding bikes that are in good mechanical condition and are properly taken care of.
Collaborate with the Asset Management Team to:
Identify and replace worn-out helmets and jackets.
Maintain high branding and safety standards.
Ensure drivers comply fully with the terms of their signed contracts.
Ensure they are presentable to the customers in terms of clean gear, a clean bike, and professionalism.
Recommend to the drivers on the replacement of worn-out parts of the bike and educate them on the risk of operating a bike without replacing the worn-out parts.
Any other responsibility given to them by the Customer Compliance & Experience Manager.
Requirements
KCSE Certificate or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
High integrity and honesty.
Friendly and respectful with good communication skills.
Good decision-making skills and a critical thinker.
Willingness to work in the field, including weekends and holidays when needed.
A valid motorcycle licence and demonstrated riding ability are required.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
