Job Description

Join TAL’s Customer Communications team and help shape the moments that matter in our customers’ policy journeys. Sitting within Individual Life and the broader Consumer and Growth team, this role supports TAL’s commitment to protecting the choices, options and freedoms that matter to Australians by ensuring customers receive clear, timely and trusted information about their cover. Through meaningful communication, you’ll help make complex policy details easier to understand, strengthen confidence in TAL, and support positive customer outcomes across our Direct and Retail businesses. It’s an opportunity to contribute to work that is both purposeful and important, helping TAL meet its responsibilities while keeping customers informed, supported and empowered throughout their relationship with us.

In this role you will:

  • Create clear, customer-focused communications that make complex life insurance information easy to understand.
  • Ensure mandatory correspondence meets regulatory, business and brand requirements across TAL and alliance partners.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into effective communication outcomes that support accurate customer correspondence.
  • Coordinate approvals with internal and external partners to deliver compliant communications with confidence.
  • Deliver communications within project timeframes while supporting key customer lifecycle and campaign moments.
  • Maintain strong document governance to protect accuracy, consistency and version control across mandatory communications.

Qualifications

  • Bring 2+ years’ experience in customer, mandatory or regulated communications, or a similar field.
  • Understand how to create communications that meet technical, regulatory and customer needs.
  • Apply experience from financial services, insurance, telecommunications or another regulated environment.
  • Communicate clearly and accurately, with strong attention to detail across written and verbal work.
  • Collaborate confidently with internal and external stakeholders to support positive outcomes.
  • Manage competing priorities and contribute effectively within project teams and delivery timeframes.
