Summary:
As a Functional Test Engineer, you will be responsible for validating and ensuring the quality of SAP Utilities CRM solutions that support critical business processes. Your typical day will involve analyzing business requirements, creating test scenarios and test cases, executing functional and integration testing, identifying and managing defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions. You will leverage agile methodologies and testing best practices to ensure applications meet business requirements, quality standards, and user expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP Utilities CRM testing.
Collaborate and manage the team to ensure successful execution of testing activities.
Responsible for testing-related decisions, quality assurance deliverables, and release readiness.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions impacting solution quality.
Provide solutions to testing challenges for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
Validate CRM business processes, customer service functions, and system integrations.
Identify, log, track, and verify defects through resolution and closure.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall testing capabilities and domain expertise.
Continuously assess and improve testing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and test coverage.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with business stakeholders to ensure successful validation and sign-off.
Professional & Technical Skills
Must Have Skills:
Proficiency in SAP for Utilities CRM.
Strong experience in Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and UAT Support.
Experience in test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, and test reporting.
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, testing tools, and quality assurance best practices.
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios.
Good To Have Skills:
Experience with integration testing across SAP modules and third-party applications.
Knowledge of SAP IS-U and CRM integration processes.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar platforms.
Exposure to test automation concepts and regression test suite management.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and business functions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Utilities CRM Functional Testing.
This position is based at our Mumbai office.
