Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze field performance, warranty claims, returned components, and reliability data to identify failure trends, emerging issues, and opportunities for product improvement.
  • Apply statistical methods, life data analysis, and reliability engineering techniques to evaluate component and system reliability and quantify the impact of design or process changes.
  • Perform quantitative reliability analysis using appropriate statistical tools to support reliability assessments, failure rate modeling, and product comparisons.
  • Support product problem-solving activities by participating in root cause investigations and implementing robust corrective and preventive actions using structured methodologies.
  • Contribute to Product Failure Reporting and Corrective/Preventive Action (FRACAS) processes to prioritize, investigate, and resolve product reliability issues.
  • Assist in developing reliability test plans, accelerated testing strategies, and validation methods to identify unknown failure modes and improve product durability.
  • Participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA/DFMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and reliability risk assessments throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to improve current product performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize engineering principles and accepted analytical methods to evaluate technical problems and recommend practical solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing product reliability, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of CCS Analytics applications and the Power BI reporting environment.
  • Manage and coordinate Power BI dashboard deployments, report releases, and analytics enhancements.
  • Maintain and optimize Power BI semantic/data models to support evolving business reporting requirements.
  • Administer user access, security roles, and permissions within the Power BI environment.
  • Monitor report performance, troubleshoot data refresh failures, deployment issues, and reporting system performance.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver scalable analytics solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, data models, and operational support documentation.
  • Promote continuous improvement of analytics platforms, reporting processes, and engineering tools.

  • Knowledge of descriptive statistics, probability distributions, regression analysis, design of experiments (DOE), hypothesis testing, and statistical inference.

Experience
  • Entry-level to early career experience in Reliability Engineering, Product Engineering, Service Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Internship, co-op, or relevant industry experience in reliability, warranty analysis, quality, or product engineering is preferred.
  • Experience working with engineering data analysis, statistical software, or business intelligence tools such as Power BI is desirable.
  • Exposure to warranty systems, field performance analysis, reliability testing, or engineering analytics is an advantage.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives is preferred.
