2. Developing the knowledge to perform correct scan protocols in an effort to decrease radiation exposure to patients.

4. Developing knowledge to properly administer IV and oral contrast.
5. Developing ability to explain exams/procedures to patients and families.
6. Ensures that work area is properly maintained.
7. Developing knowledge of current or new and evolving technologies in CT.
8. Maintains equipment and requests service as needed.
9. Complies with all TJC, state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills Required
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program, technical school, or nursing diploma
- Obtain ARRT-(R)(N)(CT) certification or Radiologic Technologist License (Arkansas Department of Health) within one year
- Flu vaccination is required
- Must not be a current user of medical marijuana (safety sensitive role)
- No prior direct experience required (entry-level)
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- Pediatric experience
- Recommended certifications: ARRT - Computed Tomography (CT), Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
