A Customer Solutions Solution - Design performs transactional, high-volume tasks and provides engineering documentation. The CSE Solution - Design is responsible for high-quality documentation and executing reviews and approval processes. This work is driven by quality and measured via service-level agreements. E.g., for layouts of standard products and minor local modifications, conducting after-certification site surveys, or becoming a user for one of the IT tools used within CSE, such as CAD, BIM, or Engineering workflow tools.
CSE Solution - Design:
- IFC / Architectural & structural drawing review & implement in Shop drawing/Tender drawing.
- Inputs for shop drawing preparation to be reviewed.
- Localisation of 2D Shop drawing/Tender drawing preparation for Elevator, Escalator, Travelator, and Auto walks including Third-party Elevators.
- Shop drawing revision based on customer comments.
- Local material drawing preparation like Dividing beam, Lifting Hook beam, Local site modification sketches…Etc.
- Finishes drawing preparation for Cabin, Car operating panel & Landing signalization, Architraves, …. Etc.
- Builder’s layout preparation (Advance drawing) for Construction coordination.
- Installation drawing preparation to site team after ordering the material to the Supply line.
- As Built Drawings & Red line marking drawing preparation based on customer requirements.
- Responsible for resolving site issues related to Engineering and its drawings.
- Participates in customer meetings as a CSE representative, impacts customer specifications, and understands customer needs through Teams calls.
- Ensures follow/comply with Engineering policy, local codes, and EN standards.
- Provides high-quality outputs to stakeholders
- Balances workload with team members based on business priorities
- Drives Behavior to represent KONE as one team towards the customer.
Requirement for the role
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Candidate with a Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in Design & Drafting.
- Prefer candidates from the elevator industry.
- Proficiency in Auto CAD with later versions and at expert level.
- Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Excellent collaboration skills and capability to work with people from different cultural backgrounds
- Capability for analytical thinking and focus on details - distinguishes between important information and irrelevant or minor details
- Ability to work with global colleagues considering different time zones, language competencies, and differences in working culture.
- Excellent technical understanding of elevators, escalators, and Moving walks.
- Revit/BIM knowledge is an asset / added advantage.
