HiBob is seeking an experienced Payroll Solution Architect (Payroll CSA) to join our Customer Success Solutions Architect team. In this pivotal role, you'll develop a deep expertise in HiBob's UK Payroll module- serving as a bridge between customer needs, product vision, and scalable business outcomes.
As a Payroll CSA, you'll be a trusted advisor and strategic partner to both our clients and internal teams. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success, and R&D to ensure the UK Payroll roadmap addresses real customer challenges, drives adoption, and delivers long-term value. Your proactive engagement and consultative approach will help clients unlock the full potential of UKP, mitigate risk, and ensure organisational agility.
You'll lead client conversations on UKP best practices, scenario planning, process optimisation, and headcount management- championing the Voice of the Customer and shaping product direction. By partnering with champions across HiBob, you'll make UKP a true strategic lever for our clients' success.

- Mandatory : Deep understanding of UK Payroll legislation, compliance requirements, and operational processes.
- Proven experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Solution Architect, Implementation Manager, or Payroll Systems Consultant.
- Proven experience configuring or implementing payroll platforms in a SaaS or B2B tech environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and regulatory challenges.
- Comfortable working across departments and engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Clear communicator, capable of delivering guidance and support with empathy and precision.
- A passion for delivering success-you're a client-focused team player who thrives on solving challenges.
- A self-starter attitude-you're resourceful, proactive, and always looking for ways to improve processes.
- Fluent in English-written and spoken.
- CIPP qualification or equivalent is preferred.
Bonus
- Experience supporting a payroll bureau or managing multiple client payrolls.
- Familiarity with HRIS or finance system integrations.
- Experience influencing product development and participating in roadmap planning.
- Background in SaaS platforms, especially those supporting HR, payroll, or finance teams.
- Exposure to payroll automation, analytics, or multi-country payroll processes.
- Practical knowledge of data privacy and compliance frameworks impacting payroll.
Job Responsibilities
What will you do?
- Provide consultative guidance to clients on UK Payroll configuration, system design, and integration points within their tech stack.
- Lead discovery and planning sessions to assess payroll readiness and define implementation success criteria.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and serve as an escalation point for Payroll-related technical concerns.
- Translate evolving legislation and payroll operations into actionable system recommendations.
- Partner with Product and R&D to validate new features, support beta testing, and improve system functionality.
- Create scalable frameworks and playbooks that support efficient and repeatable Payroll onboarding.
- Drive internal knowledge sharing, establishing yourself as the subject matter expert for Payroll within the CS organisation.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance tools, processes, and methodologies - improving efficiency, customer outcomes, and the overall experience from using Hibob.
