Overview

The AVP, Cross-Product Transition Management role is responsible for onboarding and implementing strategically important client relationships across Cleared Over The Counter (OTC), Listed Derivatives and Workflow Solutions. Sitting at the center of the client transition process, the role partners closely with Sales, Product and infrastructure teams to deliver a controlled, well-coordinated and high-quality onboarding experience. Given the complexity of the client base and product set, the role requires strong stakeholder management, clear ownership of requirements and credible representation of the Bank with senior clients and internal stakeholders.

The role sits within Transition Management and supports the onboarding of new and existing clients across multiple products, markets and jurisdictions, working closely with Sales, Product, Legal, Credit, Compliance, Technology, Client Services and Operations to coordinate implementation activity, oversee readiness to trade and support handover into business-as-usual coverage. You will manage a varied pipeline of onboarding activity for high-profile clients, maintain strong stakeholder communication and represent the function credibly in discussions with senior clients and internal stakeholders, with a clear focus on client experience, delivery discipline and clarity of requirements.

What We Offer You

  • A diverse and inclusive environment that embraces change, innovation, and collaboration

  • A hybrid working model, allowing for in-office / work from home flexibility, generous vacation, personal and volunteer days

  • Employee Resource Groups support an inclusive workplace for everyone and promote community engagement

  • Competitive compensation packages including health and wellbeing benefits, retirement savings plans, parental leave, and family building benefits

  • Educational resources, matching gift and volunteer programs

What You’ll Do

  • End-to-end transition responsibility for new and existing clients across Cleared OTC, Listed Derivatives and Workflow Solutions, from initial mandate and requirements definition through to go-live and handover, including go-live readiness support, required sign-offs, operational set-up, testing where applicable and first-trade support

  • Primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders throughout the onboarding lifecycle, with clear communication, appropriate governance and timely escalation of issues where required, and support for client meetings and onboarding discussions in partnership with Sales and Product, including explanation of process, clarification of requirements and management of expectations in line with Deutsche Bank capabilities

  • Coverage of a high-profile client portfolio, with representation of Transition Management in discussions with senior client contacts and internal stakeholders, and delivery of a professional and well-coordinated onboarding experience

  • Coordination across Legal, Credit, Compliance, Know Your Client, Technology, Operations, Client Services, Sales and Product teams, including across regional and global jurisdictions, alongside definition, documentation and challenge of business requirements at the outset to ensure clarity, completeness and shared understanding before execution

  • Management of implementation timelines, dependencies, risks and blockers across multiple concurrent workstreams, with alignment to agreed priorities and client commitments, alongside regular updates to business stakeholders through governance forums, weekly pipeline reviews and management information, including clear articulation of progress, delivery status and required actions

  • Identification of opportunities for improvement in transition processes, documentation, controls and reporting, and support for the wider team in embedding consistent standards and best practice

Skills You’ll Need

  • Relevant experience in transition management, client onboarding, implementation or a related Banking Operations function, ideally with exposure to Cleared OTC, Listed Derivatives, Workflow Solutions or other cross-product environments

  • Sound understanding of onboarding and implementation processes, including legal documentation, credit approvals, compliance requirements, account set-up, operational trade flows and go-live readiness

  • Strong requirement-capture capability, with clear structuring and communication of requirements and translation into an executable onboarding plan across multiple teams

  • Good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in the preparation of management information, presentations and status updates

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Relevant FX Product experience, strong stakeholder management capability, with confidence and credibility for effective engagement with senior internal stakeholders and client counterparts

  • Demonstrable ability in the management of high-profile or complex client implementations, with a strong focus on delivery quality and client experience

  • Proven ability in the management of multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a disciplined approach to delivery

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with clear, concise and structured presentation of information

  • Commercial awareness and sound judgement in the balance of client requirements, internal capabilities and delivery risk
