As a Senior Associate in Strategy & Planning on the Commerce Payments/Digital Wallets Payments team, you will manage and have a deep understanding of the product roadmap, help keep the team organized, and articulate and evangelize the strategic vision of the product.


Job Responsibilities

  • Build Commerce Payments expertise across the end-to-end user experience and core product areas, growing into a subject matter expert.
  • Drive long-term product strategy and roadmap optimization, with a focus on longer-horizon strategic initiatives and sustained success.
  • Create and deliver executive-ready narratives and materials (e.g., Business Reviews) that clearly articulate Commerce Payments’ strategy, progress, and outcomes.
  • Partner cross-functionally to maximize business value, using collaborative storytelling to align stakeholders and accelerate decisions.
  • Ensure a strong risk and controls environment by coordinating with Risk, Controls, Legal, and Compliance partners.
  • Own integrated planning and stakeholder communications, including tracking execution, managing dependencies, and providing regular progress updates to leadership.

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills

  • Relevant experience (3+ years) in product management, program management, product strategy, or similar; proven delivery in fast-paced environments.
  • Strategic and results-driven prioritization: able to manage multiple complex initiatives and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Analytical synthesis and sound judgment: quickly distill large/complex inputs, make decisions, iterate, and course-correct as needed.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities: able to recommend a path forward and maintain momentum amid overlap and change.
  • Influential communicator and collaborator: excellent written/verbal communication; transparent, receptive to diverse ideas; able to influence across a matrixed organization and drive change
  • Tools & education: proficiency with Microsoft (PowerPoint, Excel, TEAMS) and Jira/Confluence
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. Merchant Services is a leading provider of payment, fraud and data security for companies, capable of authorizing transactions across global currencies.

Skills Required
