We are seeking a dynamic and experienced cross-functional program manager to lead an enterprise project focused on improving the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of our pay processes, from rewards programs to payroll. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex programs that involve multiple teams and departments across Red Hat’s People and Payroll teams. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that deliverables of this initiative are on time, within scope, and within budget, while
fostering collaboration and communication across different functions.
Responsibilities:
● Program Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams across People ( Compensation, Compliance, Benefits, Shared Service Center), Payroll, and Accounting to deliver a program focused on reviewing end-to-end reward to pay processes for compliance and accuracy in alignment with program goals and strategic objectives.
● Planning and Coordination: Use your experience and expertise to develop
comprehensive and actionable program plans, including timelines, interdependencies, milestones, resources, and budgets. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure program goals are delivered on time and within budget.
● Communication: Facilitate clear communication among all stakeholders, including project updates, progress reports, and issue resolution. Ensure alignment across teams and departments and work to resolve conflicts.
● Resource Alignment: Ensure cross-functional team working on project are operating in unison and meeting deadlines.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Human Resources, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
● Knowledge of global (multi-country, with a focus on EMEA) Total Rewards programs including compliance requirements across compensation, benefits, time & absence)
● Knowledge of global payroll processes, and ability to understand requirement governing calculation of pay
● Significant experience in compliance and process design, either from a payroll or rewards perspective
● Knowledge of employee taxation and overall strong financial acumen
● Proven experience (5 years) as a Program Manager or in a similar role, managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
● Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. PMP or PgMP certification is a plus.
● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
● Solid organizational and time-management abilities. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and results.
● Experience in risk management, change management, and strategic planning.
● Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools .
The salary range for this position is $103,290.00 - $170,500.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
