Role Summary

The role will provide sales coverage across all commodity sectors and support the expansion of the firm's client franchise across the APAC region. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with regional sales teams and traders to identify opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and deliver on sales targets.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Expand the firm's client base and drive revenue growth by achieving sales targets.
  • Serve as a sales broker, building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Conduct market analysis and provide timely commentary on daily price movements, trading ideas, and actionable insights to support the trading team.
  • Respond promptly to client enquiries and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across multiple regions to develop and strengthen the firm's market intelligence network.
  • Develop a strong understanding of commodities across multiple asset classes and identify cross-selling opportunities to enhance client value.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.

  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the MAS.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

  • At all times complying with Marex’s Code of Conduct.
  • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
  • To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required.
  • To escalate risk events immediately.
  • To provide input to risk management processes, as required.
  • The Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time
