Great American’s Crop Division provides the tools clients need in the form of specialized crop insurance coverages, which can insure their revenue stream even if elements outside their control go awry. That means even in the face of a worst-case scenario, our clients will have the income to keep their operation functioning.
Great American's Crop Division is seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to fulfill the role of Training Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in a crop insurance claims related role as well as an enthusiasm and passion for teaching and learning. Previous training experience is not required but is a plus. This position is fully remote but will require travel up to 25%. As one of the largest crop insurers in the country, Great American is recognized as a leader in this specialized marketplace.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Participates in the development and implementation of crop insurance training programs and resources for the Division’s claim adjusters, supervisors and managers

Evaluates effectiveness and impact of training programs

Seeks feedback and makes continuous improvements to coursework

Identifies opportunities for new training programs and works with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to develop goals and learning paths

Conducts training sessions virtually and in-person

Implements systems and processes to ensure compliance with adjuster licensing requirements

Supports successful claim technology project implementations with timely and impactful training materials

Collaborates with regional claim departments to ensure effective and consistent training at adjuster schools

Performs other duties as assigned

The wage range for this job is based on role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, experience of the candidate, the role's scope, complexity, and other business and organizational needs.
