CRM Specialist - Australia and New Zealand
We're seeking a CRM Specialist who is passionate about helping people across Australia and New Zealand improve their finances. You will be an essential part of our Global CRM team, sending the right message to the right user at the right time to our AU & NZ audiences. This role is focused on the creation and delivery of localised, personalised content and offers to users through push and email messaging working cross-functionally with the commercial, product and design teams. Experience in Financial services is not essential but preferred, and hands on experience working with user data to build and send messages through a CRM system is a must.
CRM is a mix of technical operations and commercial marketing, so you must be highly organised with a strong logical aptitude and an analytical structured approach. Experience with using project management & comms systems such as Jira, slack and working in a fast-changing environment is highly recommended for your success in this role.
We’re a team of passionate individuals trying to make a difference, bridging the gap between digital and physical. With an office in a Sydney tech-hub, you can expect the scale-up environment and unlimited snacks (of course), but we’re about so much more than that, we take the culture of our team incredibly seriously and have big ambitions when it comes to what we do and how we do it.
Skills and experience you will need:
“hands on” experience in CRM (building and sending emails in a marketing system)
The right candidate will possess a mix of the following skills:
Hard skills
- CRM Creative: Be comfortable designing content layouts about financial products for the Australia and New Zealand audience.
- Email Marketing: Understand deliverability & coding compelling dynamic emails (basic HTML is essential such as knowing how to trouble shoot rendering issues or move tables) with solid attention to detail.
- CRM / Marketing system experience: Be very comfortable using marketing cloud systems such as BlueShift, Braze, Salesforce, Adobe etc, including creating audiences using segmentation, journeys, testing, building emails and push notifications and overall campaign delivery.
- Data: Be comfortable with creating filters & groups, understanding what type of information is needed for suppressions and inclusions and know how to scope out how to identify a selected audience. No SQL skills are needed, but you do need to understand how to use data tables.
- Marketing Analytics: Have strong analytical skills to dig into performance and then continuously work to improve performance.
- User-focused: Most importantly, be curious about our users, their goals, what motivates them, and what their frustrations are – and turn that into brilliant campaigns. You love problem solving.
Soft skills
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with colleagues, suppliers, and others at all levels, including senior stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Able to work well as part of a local and Global team, knowing when to take the lead on something and when to support others leading. Always focused on finding solutions.
