Husqvarna Construction in Olathe, KS is looking for a detail-oriented professional to support credit operations by reconciling accounts, resolving disputed invoices, and researching payment deductions. The Credit Specialist role also manages lease and finance transaction tracking, credit applications, and credit insurance. Your success in this role will be key to ensuring timely, accurate credit processing and avoiding unnecessary write-offs.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting, Monitoring & Reconciliation (35%)
- Track lease and finance transactions and invoice finance companies for payment.
- Process credit applications per internal policy.
- Submit credit insurance claims and maintain required reporting and documentation.
Deduction Research (35%)
- Monitor CRM for deduction cases and follow up with customers and internal teams.
- Investigate deduction reasons, validate claims, and apply or deny credits as appropriate.
- Analyze deduction trends to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
Dispute Resolution (30%)
- Resolve disputed invoices by reviewing claims with customers and internal teams.
- Ensure valid credits are issued; assist with documentation and communication for denied claims.
What You Bring:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, CRM, ERP systems, and general accounting/credit principles.
- 4–5 years of experience in account reconciliation or credit operations.
Work Environment:
- Standard office setting with regular computer use.
- Involves daily to annual deadlines across a variety of tasks.
