We are seeking a Credit Risk Manager to support the Credit Risk teamwithin the Credit Risk Department, based in Budapest.

In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyse and monitor risks and lead key regulatory initiatives.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead and grow a team of 3–5 credit risk analysts, setting clear priorities, driving performance, and building a strong, collaborative culture

  • Portfolio & Risk Ownership: Own a portfolio of corporate loans and derivative counterparties, maintaining a proactive view on exposure, performance, and emerging risks

  • Credit Risk Decisioning: Assess transactions and trade requests to determine credit ratings and risk appetite, ensuring sound and consistent decision-making
  • Transaction Execution: Lead deal delivery end-to-end—from structuring through approval and financial close—including presenting to credit committees and senior stakeholders
  • Financial Analysis & Documentation: Deliver clear, high-quality credit materials (memos, forecasts, models) that support effective risk decisions
  • Market & Regulatory Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory expectations, partnering closely with stakeholders and regulatory teams
  • Process Excellence: Drive efficiency by improving workflows, enhancing delivery standards, and embedding best practices across the team
  • People Management: Own hiring, coaching, and performance management—developing talent and building future-ready teams

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Strong experience in corporate credit analysis, financial forecasting, and risk rating
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, lending products, and legal documentation
  • Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Confident communication and stakeholder management ability
  • Strong attention to detail with high-quality output delivery

Nice to have:

  • Experience developing junior talent
  • Familiarity with derivatives (swaps, FX, equities) and ISDA/CSA documentation
  • Exposure to European regulatory environment
