Ag Processing Ing (AGP) is seeking a detail-oriented and business-minded Credit Representative to join our team and support the Director of Credit in managing credit and accounts receivable functions across our company and its subsidiaries. This is a high-visibility role that partners closely with our Marketing Team and leadership to assess risk, support sales growth, and ensure strong financial performance.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of the Credit team, you will:

  • Partner with the Marketing Team to evaluate customer creditworthiness across all AGP’s business units

  • Review and coordinate incoming credit applications

  • Pull and analyze Dun & Bradstreet reports; contact bank and trade references to support credit decisions

  • Assist the Director of Credit in advancing departmental initiatives and strengthening credit processes

  • Respond to credit reference requests for all affiliated companies

  • Maintain and enhance the customer database (ship-to locations, address updates, sold-to numbers, etc.)

  • Support the generation of credit and accounts receivable reports to inform leadership decisions

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of credit procedures and risk management practices

What You Bring

Knowledge & Expertise

  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles

  • Working knowledge of credit procedures, practices, and applicable laws

  • Familiarity with agricultural production and/or manufacturing industries preferred

Skills

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting/database systems

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Abilities

  • Ability to build professional relationships with senior management, internal teams, customers, and external partners

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to balance risk management with business growth objectives

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred

  • 3–5 years of credit or accounts receivable experience preferred

  • Experience in agriculture or manufacturing environments strongly preferred
