Ag Processing Ing (AGP) is seeking a detail-oriented and business-minded Credit Representative to join our team and support the Director of Credit in managing credit and accounts receivable functions across our company and its subsidiaries. This is a high-visibility role that partners closely with our Marketing Team and leadership to assess risk, support sales growth, and ensure strong financial performance.

What You’ll Do
As a key member of the Credit team, you will:
Partner with the Marketing Team to evaluate customer creditworthiness across all AGP’s business units
Review and coordinate incoming credit applications
Pull and analyze Dun & Bradstreet reports; contact bank and trade references to support credit decisions
Assist the Director of Credit in advancing departmental initiatives and strengthening credit processes
Respond to credit reference requests for all affiliated companies
Maintain and enhance the customer database (ship-to locations, address updates, sold-to numbers, etc.)
Support the generation of credit and accounts receivable reports to inform leadership decisions
Contribute to continuous improvement of credit procedures and risk management practices
What You Bring
Knowledge & Expertise
Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles
Working knowledge of credit procedures, practices, and applicable laws
Familiarity with agricultural production and/or manufacturing industries preferred
Skills
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting/database systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Abilities
Ability to build professional relationships with senior management, internal teams, customers, and external partners
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to balance risk management with business growth objectives
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
3–5 years of credit or accounts receivable experience preferred
Experience in agriculture or manufacturing environments strongly preferred

Ag Processing Inc a cooperative (AGP®) is a farmer-owned cooperative engaged in the procurement, processing, marketing, and transportation of grains and grain products.
Since its formation in 1983, AGP has been committed to the success of its owners. Today, that is over 150 member cooperatives representing over 200,000 farmers throughout the United States.
