Job Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Credit Representative to contribute to our team in our La Vergne, TN office. 

As the Credit Representative, you will establish and support accounts receivable related Credit/Collection functions for Ingram Content Group.  You’ll ensure efficiency, accuracy and timely processing of transactions including order release, account receivable collections, credit processing, accounts payable offsets, and reconciliation functions for assigned accounts. In this role, you will support existing Credit Representatives with managing account receivable portfolios (including Australia and United Kingdom offices), customer issues, order releases, etc., during outages.  In addition, you’ll maintain current knowledge of AR, Billing Systems, various contracts, publisher websites, Home-state Tax Requirements, and Corporate Procedures for various Ingram Divisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent year for year experience
  • 2 years of previous Credit/Collections experience or 2 Years of Ingram Customer Care experience

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6 months of Ingram Credit/Collections experience
  • 1 year of experience with communication to/from customers on the telephone and via email (MS Outlook)
  • 1 years of experience creating spreadsheets in MS Excel, including creating basic mathematical formulas and data manipulation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides account management for active Ingram customers or assigned accounts, including daily order release, based on established guidelines.
  • Contacts customers proactively after review with department management when assigned credit limit exceeds orders, a special order is submitted, a past due balance prohibits the release of orders, etc.
  • Recommends credit hold and communicates such action across different Org Id’s (AU/UK) as appropriate.
  • Evaluates customer records and recommends payment plans based on sales compensation, payment history, length of relationship and reason for arrears.
  • Accesses various data bases for research and processing, including, but not limited to CyberSource, Web-Admin, Oracle, and JIRA-Credit systems etc.
  • Handles credit card data, updates the customer/publisher website with cc information, or initiates assistance as needed for the customer/publisher to navigate/update themselves. May initiate manual credit card charges, perform research, or view/update credit card data.
  • Interacts with various other departments including Client Services, Sales, Accounts Payable, AU and UK offices, Returns, and IT to resolve issues or conduct research.

Hiring Salary Range: $20.06/hr - $24.64/hr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Skills Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent year-for-year experience
  • Two years of previous credit or collections experience, or two years of Ingram Customer Care experience
  • Bachelor's degree with six months of Ingram Credit or Collections experience
  • One year of experience communicating with customers by telephone and email using Microsoft Outlook
  • One year of experience creating spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel, including basic mathematical formulas and data manipulation
