Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) are a leading distributor of passenger and commercial vehicle parts to the independent automotive aftermarket. We operate in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Poland, and Netherlands.
We are a subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company (GPC) and the home of NAPA racing UK, competing in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
Due to the continued growth of the group, we are now looking to recruit for a Credit Controller for our Factor business in Ireland. The role will be based at the AAG site in Parkwest Business Park, Dublin 12.
The accounting system is an industry specific package called MAM. This is a windows system and is intuitive for users familiar with any other windows-based accounting package. Training will be provided as required.
Areas of responsibility will include:
Contacting business customers on a regular basis to ensure payments come in on time.
Working with those customers when payment is overdue to collect the debt as quickly as possible
Negotiating repayment plans if customers are experiencing difficulties in making payments to terms
Setting up and maintaining customer files
Processing payments
Starting legal proceedings if debts are not paid within an agreed time
Liaising with internal businesses
Produce & send collection letters
Assist in the notification of new business acquisition customers of changes in ownership
Bank reconciliations
Producing customer statements
The ideal candidate is likely to have:
