Join Carson’s Credit & Collections Team
Are you a proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and values collaboration? Carson is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Credit Analyst II (Collections). In this role, you’ll be the bridge between our internal sales teams and external B2B & B2C customers helping to manage credit exposure, resolve payment issues, and lower DSO within assigned portfolio.
What You’ll Do
- Build strong relationships with internal sales teams and external customers.
- Daily collections on assigned portfolio.
- Utilize ticketing system to review and release orders on credit holds within set timelines.
- Answer incoming department & direct line calls.
- Investigate and resolve payment disputes and monitor slowing trends.
- Assess credit exposure and recommend credit limit needs to Underwriting team for evaluation, and approval.
- Negotiate payment plans with delinquent accounts within policy guidelines.
- Meet monthly objectives across portfolio.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Support team operations with administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Quarterly on-call phone rotation
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in credit and collections.
- Solid understanding of credit principles and collection strategies.
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on relationship-building.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- NACM designation highly desired but not required.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screen (including marijuana).
Work Style & Environment
- Hybrid work model: remote flexibility + in-office collaboration.
- Comfortable with data entry and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs.).
