As a Creative Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in the conceptualization, development, and execution of groundbreaking campaigns, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in ad formats and branded content. You’ll work closely with the tech team, strategists, and internal stakeholders to bring bold ideas to life.
Responsibilities:
- Translate brand briefs and strategies into innovative, high-impact creative ideas that resonate with target audiences
- Build branded content concepts based on insights derived from an in-depth understanding of the brand, consumers’ feelings, attitudes and behaviours, and cultural trends
- Think across platforms and channels, mastering the attributes of each to create tailored content and conversations across each channel for total ecosystem engagement.
- Lead the ideation, writing, and execution of campaigns, ensuring delivery of top-tier creative outputs
- Stay attuned to pop culture, digital trends, and the broader zeitgeist to ensure content remains fresh and relevant
- Creatively involve in end-to-end coordination and execution with third party like director, producer and vendors
- Conduct brainstorming sessions with campaign and strategy team, maintaining creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives
- Guide and upskill junior creatives, fostering a culture of learning and creative excellence
Qualifications and Prior experience:
- At least 6-10 years of experience in building creative digital branded content campaigns at a publisher, agency or media house
- Understanding and past experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile
- Proven experience with concept development including digital ad films, long form content, short video formats, etc
- Ability to drive creative direction and vision for multiple projects simultaneously
- Hands-on experience with all stages of video content development—concept creation, production, influencer collaboration, shooting, and post-production
- Should have an understanding of marketing, social and media analytics to shape & optimize content based on performance and learnings.
- Ability to work effectively across teams and departments to deliver cohesive and innovative campaigns
Required Creative and Design Tool Proficiency (Good to have):
- Design Tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Canva, Figma.
- Video Editing Tools: Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
- Presentation Tools: PowerPoint, Google Slides for creating impactful and visually compelling presentations.
- Project Management Tools: Trello, Asana, or similar tools for campaign coordination and execution.
- Analytics Tools: Basic familiarity with Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or other social media analytics tools to inform and refine creative strategies.
