About ShopOSShopOS is building an AI-native operating system for ecommerce, combining AI agents with human expertise to help brands run and grow their businesses.
We're building a new way for ecommerce brands to create, market, and operate at scale, and creative is a huge part of that journey. We're looking for a Creative Strategist who can own the creative direction for our enterprise clients and ensure that what a client imagines is exactly what our creative team delivers.
This is not a project management or "manage the to-do list" role. You'll sit at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, clients, and execution, translating briefs into sharp creative direction and working closely with our video editors and image/Photoshop editors to bring ideas to life.
You'll also be doing this at an AI-native company, where AI isn't an add-on. You'll help shape how creative workflows are built and executed with AI from day one.
Key Responsibilities- Own end-to-end creative direction for enterprise client accounts, from brief to final delivery.
- Translate client goals, briefs, and brand vision into clear, actionable creative direction.
- Work closely with video editors and image/Photoshop editors to ensure there is no ambiguity between the brief and the final output.
- Maintain creative consistency and quality across multiple deliverables and campaigns.
- Bring a strong point of view on what makes creative work for ecommerce, D2C, and B2C brands.
- Develop and direct performance marketing creatives across formats and platforms.
- Stay deeply plugged into creator culture, social trends, and emerging content formats.
- Understand what creators are doing well and translate those insights into effective brand creative.
- Partner closely with account and client teams to understand briefs, ask the right questions, and uncover the thinking behind the request.
- Help build and continuously improve creative workflows as the team scales.
- Experiment with AI-powered creative workflows and help define how creative teams can work better and faster with AI.
- Take ownership of creative quality. If something isn't good enough, you'll be expected to push it further.
- 5–8 years of experience in creative strategy, creative direction, advertising, or a related role.
- Strong experience working with B2C and ecommerce brands.
- Proven experience creating or directing performance marketing creative at scale.
- Strong understanding of what drives performance across metrics such as CTR, CVR, and ROAS, not just what looks aesthetically good.
- Experience running or directing creative campaigns for brands.
- A sharp, current understanding of creator-led content, social trends, and internet culture.
- Strong ability to direct creative teams, particularly video and image editors.
- Excellent ability to translate high-level briefs into clear, ground-level execution without losing the original intent or nuance.
- Experience working directly with clients or enterprise stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to give clear, actionable creative feedback.
- High creative ownership and strong attention to detail.
- Genuine curiosity about AI and how it can change the way creative work gets produced.
- Experience in the fashion industry, either through a fashion brand, design/retail company, or fashion ecommerce/retail clients.
- Experience working with creator/influencer-led campaigns.
- Experience working across multiple creative formats and paid social platforms.
- Hands-on experience with creative tools or AI-powered creative workflows.
- Work at the intersection of AI, ecommerce, and creative and build workflows that are still early in their evolution.
- Direct creative ownership for enterprise-scale clients from day one.
- A small, high-ownership team where your creative judgment directly influences the work.
- The opportunity to work closely with founders and senior creative/product teams.
- Freedom to experiment, test new ideas, and challenge how creative work is traditionally done.
- A genuine opportunity to help build an AI-native creative operation from the ground up.
- A fast-moving environment where good ideas can go from discussion to execution quickly.
You're someone who cares deeply about the work, not just getting it out the door.
You have sharp creative instincts, strong opinions, and the judgment to know when to push back. You can understand a messy client brief, find the real objective underneath it, turn it into a clear creative direction, and work with a team to make the final output better.
You enjoy the pace of an early-stage company, are comfortable with ambiguity, and are excited by the idea of figuring out what the future of creative looks like when AI is part of the workflow from day one.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
