Job Summary/Description:
WKYT is looking for a Creative Services Producer to join its award-winning Creative Services Team. This position will handle a variety of multimedia functions, including shooting and editing video for broadcast, streaming, and social media use, writing and conceptualizing projects, commercial and station promotions, and other station initiatives.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Conceptualizing, writing, shooting, and editing compelling commercial work for broadcast and digital platforms, as well as promotions, social media campaigns, and show production.
• Detail-oriented, self-starter who can multitask to meet deadlines and work both independently as well as part of a team.
• Assist with community relations and station-sponsored events.
• Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 2-year degree in Marketing, Video Production, or equivalent experience in the field preferred.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in commercial or broadcast production is a plus.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products, composition, and design. Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Experience shooting on DSLR cameras, Blackmagic cameras, and other video equipment.
• Creative writing skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of production lighting techniques.
• Knowledge of social media production and platforms (Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• A Strong Reel Showing Your Work.
