The Role 

We’re hiring a Senior Director of Brand & Creative to own and evolve how the world experiences Rethink First. This role combines brand strategy, storytelling, and creative leadership into one high-impact position. You’ll guide our visual identity, lead content and campaign strategy, and elevate the emotional and strategic power of our brand across all touchpoints. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Define and evolve the Rethink First brand. 

  • Lead brand voice, messaging, and identity across web, content, and marketing channels. 

  • Build and manage content strategy—including blogs, whitepapers, email, case studies, and thought leadership. 

  • Oversee in-house and freelance creative talent (designers, writers, video producers). 

  • Partner with product, marketing, and clinical teams to tell powerful, human-centered stories. 

  • Manage creative operations, and agency relationships. 

  • Use data to measure and improve brand and content performance. 

What We’re Looking For 

  • 8+ years in brand, content, or creative leadership (healthcare, edtech, wellness, or mission-driven tech a plus). 

  • Experience building and scaling brand systems and creative teams. 

  • Strong writing, storytelling, design and content strategy skills. 

  • Hands-on creative direction across digital, print, and multimedia. 

  • Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and communication chops. 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience with B2B audiences. 

  • Familiarity with behavioral health, Employer Benefits or educational content. 

  • Portfolio showcasing brand or content transformation work.

RethinkFirst offers employees the opportunity to work remotely from the comfort of their home with occasional visits to the office in our beautiful Chelsea-based NYC office. Some roles have specific requirements around travel and in-office needs.
