About the role

We are looking for a Creative Director, eCommerce, a high-performing leader who is results-oriented, collaborative, and a creative problem solver. You will obsess over the customer journey to create the best consumer and fan experiences that drive conversion for the Store. The Creative Director thinks strategically, critically, and creatively to translate brand and commercial strategies into best-in-class dynamic digital content.

A Day in the Life:

  • Lead the development of the visual creative strategy that reflects the identity, values, and brand positioning for the Crunchyroll Store and aligns with the Crunchyroll Brand guidelines.
  • Be the Store's creative ambassador, ensuring that all creative outputs reflect the Store vision and campaign vision. Complete any last minute asset revisions to improve sales performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Creatives Services, Marketing, Events, Site Merchandising) to align creative strategies with business objectives, ensuring efficient execution across all platforms and languages.
  • Oversee the development of all eCommerce and Events assets for the Crunchyroll Store, including style guides and over 10,000 digital assets each year. Manage workflow processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining creative excellence.
  • Establish a weekly creative review process to assess and edit all creative work from internal and external creative partners. Collect feedback from multiple stakeholders and interpret into actionable direction.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence to monitor industry and consumer trends and digital commerce best practices.
  • Partner with the Buying & Merchandising leads to support the creative direction and development of new product collections, onboarding external vendors.

In the role of Creative Director, eCommerce, you will report to the SVP, Head of Global eCommerce & Direct to Consumer.

About You

  • Passion for developing consumer-centric creative
  • Leading and mentoring multiple creatives at a time
  • Comfortable partnering with a cross-functional team of Creative Leads
  • Experience translating market and consumer research into a creative approach
  • Independently develop projects from concept through execution
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience building ecommerce experiences
  • Passion for anime is a huge plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree required

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
