Our Client is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Creative Designer to support the design and development of innovative packaging solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating packaging designs, key line drawings, die lines, and production-ready artwork while ensuring designs meet customer requirements, manufacturing specifications, quality standards, and cost objectives. The role requires strong design capabilities, technical knowledge of packaging production processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, sales teams, and production departments to deliver high-quality packaging solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Create Key Line Drawings (KLD) and die lines for a variety of packaging formats and customer requirements.
  • Develop working drawings and technical design specifications based on customer briefs, sketches, and design concepts.
  • Design and develop corrugated packaging solutions using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and other relevant design tools.
  • Prepare accurate, production-ready artwork and technical drawings that comply with manufacturing and printing requirements.
  • Present packaging design concepts and solutions to customers, either independently or in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand packaging requirements, branding objectives, functional needs, and commercial expectations.
  • Ensure all packaging designs meet established printing standards and are suitable for production processes.
  • Prepare and verify artwork files to ensure polymer plates and related printing materials are production-ready.
  • Coordinate with printing, manufacturing, and production teams to address and resolve design-related issues during pre-production and production stages.
  • Produce packaging samples and prototypes to evaluate design functionality, appearance, manufacturability, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure packaging designs meet both functional and cost-efficiency requirements while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Review designs for accuracy, dimensions, material suitability, structural integrity, and production feasibility before approval.
  • Support product development initiatives by creating innovative packaging concepts and design improvements.
  • Maintain clear communication with sales, production, and customer stakeholders throughout the design and development process.
  • Monitor design projects to ensure timelines, specifications, and customer expectations are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of design files, technical drawings, artwork revisions, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Stay informed about packaging design trends, materials, manufacturing techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical design support and recommendations to internal teams regarding packaging structure, printing requirements, and production capabilities.
  • Ensure all design work aligns with company quality standards, customer specifications, and operational requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure customer designs, artwork, specifications, and company information are handled securely and professionally.
  • Support the effective administration of packaging design activities to ensure timely delivery of innovative, functional, and production-ready packaging solutions.


  • Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Packaging Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working as a Packaging Designer, Creative Designer, Graphic Designer, or in a similar packaging design role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging design, structural design, artwork development, and creative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Natural talent for design with a strong creative mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, AutoCAD, or other relevant 3D design applications.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and other relevant graphic design software.
  • Understanding of packaging structures, die lines, key line drawings, printing processes, and packaging production requirements.
  • Experience creating production-ready artwork and technical drawings for manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of corrugated packaging design, packaging materials, and packaging manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of colour concepts, graphics, typography, layout design, and visual communication principles.
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into functional, aesthetically appealing, and commercially viable packaging solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve design and production challenges.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, sales teams, production teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy, creativity, and adherence to deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, initiative, and accountability when handling customer projects and confidential design information.
  • Knowledge of printing standards, artwork preparation, and pre-production requirements is highly desirable.

  • Skills Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Packaging Design, or a related field
    • Proven experience as a Packaging Designer, Creative Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar packaging design professional
    • Portfolio demonstrating packaging design, structural design, artwork development, and creative problem-solving
    • Proficiency in CAD software, AutoCAD, or relevant 3D design applications
    • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and relevant graphic design software
