Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Under limited supervision, set up and operate manual and CNC equipment to produce parts to specification.
2. Understand complex blueprints and determine acceptable part dimensions and cosmetic requirements. Keep stakeholders informed.
3. Follow and understand all maintenance and safety processes and practices with limited supervision.
4. Learn and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
5. Understand. Create. Simplify.
6. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Trade school degree or two years of shop experience
Able to operate Windows and MS Office. Able to perform math equations with fractions, decimals, basic algebra
Strong math skills
Ability to accurately measure parts
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
