As a Craft Recruiter, you will support the recruitment and onboarding of hourly craft employees across a variety of commercial and industrial projects.   • Support the recruitment process for hourly craft positions across Western Canada
  • Post jobs on internal and external job boards
  • Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings
  • Schedule interviews and assist hiring managers throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain candidate and employee information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Conduct reference checks and support pre-employment requirements
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation activities
  • Attend job fairs, industry events, school presentations, and community recruitment initiatives
  • Build relationships with candidates and provide a positive candidate experience
  • Assist with sourcing candidates through online job boards, social media, and referral programs
  • Track recruitment metrics and prepare basic recruitment reports
  • Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives
  • Participate in special projects and other recruitment-related activities as assigned

What We Are Looking For

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • 0-2 years of recruitment, human resources, administration, customer service, or related experience
  • Strong interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, and the construction industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable learning new systems and technology
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Experience using social media platforms for networking and candidate engagement is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel periodically to project sites and recruitment events throughout Western Canada
  • Occasional flexibility to attend recruitment events outside of regular business hours
