Position Overview:
As a Project Manager, your main responsibility will be to oversee a team of Consultants, guiding them through all phases of Oracle Cloud/Any ERP/SaaS implementation projects. This role requires extensive project management expertise within a consulting firm, as well as a comprehensive understanding of technical projects and the ability to facilitate the successful implementation of non-routine and complex business solutions by providing structure, discipline, guidance, and direction. The role involves interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks.
- Build and maintain the project plan, and review all deliverables before releasing them to the customer.
- Ensure projects are delivered as per the plan, budget, and quality standards.
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers.
- Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to the project work plan.
- Travel to the client location as required.
- Own end-to-end delivery of Oracle Fusion AMS services across SCM, Financials, PPM, and HCM.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments.
- Monitor incident, service request, problem, and change management activities.
- Drive timely resolution of critical production issues and major incidents.
- Conduct Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Governance Meetings with customer stakeholders.
- Act as the primary escalation point for business and technical stakeholders.
- Plan resource utilization and capacity across BAU support, enhancements, and projects.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Project Management/Any relevant qualification.
- 5+ years of direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
- Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or equivalent.
- Excellent presentation skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good to Have:
- Oracle Project Management Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- PMP Certification.
- ITIL Certification.
