C&Q Project Management Intern

Role Overview

Legend Biotech is seeking a Project Management Intern as part of the Commissioning and Qualification (C&Q) team based in Raritan, NJ for our 2025 Summer Internship Program, which will run from June 9th, 2025, to August 15th, 2025. The intern will work 40 hours per week, Mon – Fri, and is required to be onsite all days during the week. The intern will perform project management duties in support of the C&Q team that will include coordinating the work of cross-functional team members, facilitating meetings, preparing project plans and dashboards, and updating project status.

Key Responsibilities  

• Coordinate with the project lead and functional area lead on projects assigned.
• Reach out to key stakeholders to understand the project requirements. 
• Identify needed functions and request team members from functional managers. 
• Create project plans and schedules using Microsoft Excel. 
• Facilitate meetings with cross-functional team members to drive project execution. 
• Prepare and archive meeting minutes. 
• Work with team to draft final project objectives. 
• Update and manage project tracking data such as the risk log, issues log, and decision log, and headcount tracker using Microsoft Excel. 
• Prepare project status dashboards using Microsoft PowerPoint. 
• Prepare project lessons learned and perform project closeout activities. 
• Participate in regular one-on-ones with the project lead and functional area lead and escalate any roadblocks or concerns. 

• Must be completing coursework toward a Bachelor’s degree. 
• Must have strong organizational skills. 
• Must be self-motivated and follow through with specific tasks. 
• Must be able to work independently and successfully prioritize tasks. 
• Must be able to manage shifting priorities to meet critical deadlines. 
• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. 
• Must be highly collaborative and inclusive.
