Job Description

Supports the Relationship Manager in developing and maintaining Federal agency account relationships while helping drive profitability within the existing portfolio. In partnership with the lead Relationship Manager, this role identifies growth opportunities and strategic revenue initiatives by applying knowledge of clients, markets, government policies and regulations, and bank products and services. Responsibilities include supporting program managers across all aspects of the bankcard program, including electronic access system assistance, reporting, data analysis, data mining, account maintenance, technical research, and issue resolution. The role also assists with technical integration activities, including researching and resolving file extract issues, coordinating with internal technology and operations partners, and communicating the client impact of technical releases, system upgrades, and platform changes. In addition, the role prepares and participates in account reviews and sales presentations for existing and prospective clients, builds collaborative relationships with clients and internal partners, and contributes to special projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five to seven years of relationship management experience
Preferred Skills/Experience

- Four to six years of product sales, relationship management, or client servicing experience
- Ability to travel 10-15%

- Thorough understanding of payments industry

- Strong attention to detail, naturally inquisitive, self-starter/take initiative with minimal supervision

- Strong Excel skills including Power Query; CoPilot a plus
- Knowledge of product marketing, client servicing components, and organization operations
- Excellent marketing and business development/sales skills

- Excellent technical mindset and expertise; in-depth trouble shooting
- Negotiation and decision-making skills
- Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills

- Understanding of Federal government contracting/policies

- Familiarity with GSA SmartPay program

- Project management knowledge

- Implementation/client onboarding experience

- Experience with data mining/trend analyses

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $110,700.00 - 135,300.00
