We are seeking a highly analytical and responsive CPQ Configuration Developer to design, configure, and support our CPQ solutions in a fast-paced, time-sensitive quoting environment. This role is critical to enabling accurate, timely quotes and orders that directly support active sales cycles and revenue delivery.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and data modeling skills with a clear sense of urgency and excellent communication. Success in this role depends on the ability to turn business requirements into scalable CPQ configurations while proactively communicating progress and risks.

This position is configuration-, logic-, and rules-focused, rather than traditional software development. Attention to detail, system thinking, and responsiveness are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and enhance CPQ product catalogs and workflows
• Translate requirements into effective CPQ rules, configurations, and system behaviors
• Design and manage complex product configuration logic, dependencies, constraints, and validations
• Support and maintain bill of materials (BOM) structures and mappings where applicable
• Deliver CPQ updates and fixes to support live sales opportunities and launches
• Clearly communicate status, priorities, risks, and impacts
• Support integrations with CRM, order management, billing, or downstream systems as required
• Document configuration logic, data models, and best practices to support scalability and maintainability

Required Qualifications

• Experience with CPQ, CRM, or business application configuration environments
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with structured data
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into system workflows, rules, and configurations
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex, interconnected logic
• Strong cross-functional communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in time-sensitive, deadline-driven environments
• Strong prioritization and follow-through

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle CPQ (strongly preferred)
  • Bonus for hands-on experience with BOM mapping and complex product structures
• Experience with other CPQ platforms such as Salesforce CPQ / Steelbrick
• General Oracle ecosystem experience
• Strong JavaScript and/or HTML skills for CPQ customization
• Experience designing and maintaining rules engines, logic-based product configuration, and pricing models
• Familiarity with order management and quote-to-cash processes
• Experience supporting manufacturing, subscription billing, or hybrid business models
• Strong data modeling skills, particularly related to product catalogs, pricing architectures, and configuration hierarchies
