As Country Sales Manager, you will drive the growth of our vaccine business in Brazil, expanding sales with existing customers while winning new accounts across our portfolio of products and services. The role calls for a strong scientific foundation, the ability to absorb and apply new technical information quickly, and the interpersonal skills to build lasting customer relationships. You will operate within an international network that brings new developments from our company and our partners to market. Reporting to the Business Development Manager – LATAM, you will work closely with our local distribution partners to expand our presence across the region. This is a highly cross-functional position, with regular collaboration across Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, and Customer Service.

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development: Achieve sales targets by identifying new business opportunities, executing strategies to expand market share, and promoting our products and services to existing and potential clients.
- Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key clients in the industry. Understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify market trends, demands, and competitor activities. Stay up to date with industry developments, monitor customer preferences, and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Provide regular market intelligence on customers, competitors, pricing, and vaccination practices.
- Training and Education: Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for clients, distributors, and sales teams to enhance their understanding of our products and services. Educate them about new products, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer support by promptly addressing client queries, resolving issues, and coordinating with internal departments for efficient order processing and delivery. Oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting to after-sales support. Support field trials, product introductions, and technical-commercial activities.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as supply chain, logistics, and marketing to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of products and services. Effectively communicate customer requirements and feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports, sales forecasts, and performance analysis to monitor progress against targets. Utilize CRM systems and other tools to track sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions.
Education
- BS in a life science with 5-7 years of experience, in Veterinary/Animal Health or related business
- BS in biology, biological chemistry, veterinary medicine, agricultural science, microbiology, chemistry, organic chemistry, or biochemistry. All life science degrees will be considered.
Candidate Profile
- Proven commercial and business development experience in poultry, animal health, vaccines, or veterinary products.
- Strong knowledge of the Brazilian poultry industry, with technical credibility in poultry health and vaccination.
- Existing network with poultry companies and veterinarians in Southern Brazil.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong prioritization skills and a track record of delivering against targets.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Language: Portuguese (native) and English.
- Reliable and self-motivated, and effective working remotely with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, and online meeting platforms, and familiar with CRM principles.
