Job Description Summary:We are looking for a Country Manager for our mexican business to develop new opportunities for both our Asset Management and Technical Advisory Business Lines and to ensure profitability of the mexican market. As Country Manager for Vector Renewables you will have an essential impact on our future development and pull the strings for our local market growth.In the role of Country Manager you will have to ensure that the company's goals and objectives are aligned with the local market conditions, customer needs, and regulatory environment.
This requires managing a team of local staff, coordinating with the headquarters and other regional offices, and developing and executing the business plan for the country.
In your role you will have to properly setting and monitoring the budget, revenue, and expenses for the country, developing and implementing marketing, sales and execution of services, establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as customers, partners, suppliers, media, and government agencies.
Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that may arise in the country as well as reporting and communicating progress, performance, and feedback to Vector Renewable’s CEO and other relevant parties.

Key Responsibilities
Managing and improving an effective brand strategy in the Country and ensuring consistency
Building professional relationships with staff and stakeholders
Generate new sources of revenues for all our Business Lines
Liaise with head/corporate office and coordinate the local activities according to the general guidelines shared by the service line responsible (matrix scheme)
Support, in coordination with Global Technical Asset Management and Global Technical Advisory, the relationship with clients, ensuring efficient, effective and high quality of deliverables related to the services provided, based on specifications contractual agreements agreed with clients.
Support, in coordination with the Commercial Department, the growth of business by Vector in the Country.
Support in the coordination and recruitment of the local team that Vector can have in the Country.
Monitoring the performances of the mexican Asset Management and Technical Advisory team and the quality and timely delivery over the Clients’ contracts
Prepare, implement, and monitor new strategic and operational initiatives
Identification and monitoring of business opportunities, meetings/calls, preparation of pre-qualifications and bidding processes related to services both in Mexico and in other surrounding countries markets.
Ensure compliance with local regulations
Support in the collection and processing of data in Vector's commercial activity.
Support in the preparation of commercial proposals.
Support in the preparation of Strategic Plans for Mexico.
Be part of the management body of Vector Mexico to support said company in its relations with public authorities, with the market and with the industry of the sector.
Attendance at events/webinars related to the renewable energy sector, in order to support activities commercials of Vector Mexico prior approval of the Commercial Director of Vector.
Develop and manage a brand strategy in Mexico, ensuring its consistency with the global positioning of the Vector Renewables brand.
Knowledge and understanding of the electricity market in Chile and the wider region
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering (preferably a Master's degree)
Experience in the energy and infrastructure business sector in Mexico
A thorough understanding of the commercial/environmental/regulatory challenges facing all stages of wind and solar project development and the renewable energy industry
Network of contacts to generate business opportunities
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Appropriate skills to negotiate and deal with people
Proven management experience in similar positions, at leadership or deputy level
Sensitivity to different cultural norms and proven ability to operate in an international environment
Fluent in Spanish and English
