About the Position
We have the perfect opportunity for an experienced Transportation Analyst. The role will report into the GCC Transportation Manager (Global Capability Center). This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where the successful candidate must have the right attitude, be prepared to roll their sleeves up and be an excellent problem solver. This person will be responsibilities for Transportation & Logistics execution. We are looking for someone who doesn't need any motivation to develop, a self-starter, who is hungry to continually improve Transportation & Logistics operations. You will be working close together with various business partners in our Business units & GBS as well as partner with External Carriers.
In brief, you will be responsible for :
- All Transportation Execution processes across regional distribution POD's
- Daily shipment planning via TMS . Ensuring they are optimized & shipped on time
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with procurement, p lants /planning, warehousing and customer service.
- Monitor data flows between ERP system, TMS, and WMS systems to ensure synchronization for successful transportation execution
- Identify Gaps in transportation capacity and initiate accurate measures with Transportation Capacity Planning team.
- Daily interaction with off-site carriers and on-site carrier partners to resolve service and capacity issues with critical issues to management as needed.
- Identify opportunities across Transportation network & activities to enable service & cost improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management , Engineering, Business or related field
- 2+ Years Transportation & Logistics experience preferably within FMCG
- Strong knowledge of Transportat ion and Logistics operations
- Proficiency in Transportation software & tools (TMS, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) , OTM, SAP, ORTEC & 4Kites)
- Proven track record to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
- C ommercial mindset and negotiation skills
- Metrics / KPIs to own:
- Carrier on-time % and scorecard ratings
- On-time Delivery %
- Freight claims frequency and cost
