The Role
Lead Samba’s Brazil market launch by owning revenue strategy, pipeline, enterprise sales, partnerships, technical solutioning, ecosystem mapping, and market-entry planning. The role requires building relationships across agencies, advertisers, broadcasters, platforms, and data providers; supporting integrations and proofs of concept; ensuring LGPD compliance; and establishing operating processes and metrics. This contract consultant engagement is based in São Paulo with travel within Brazil.
Summary Generated by Built In
Samba connects the advertising industry. Today, a trillion dollars of media flows through platforms that don’t talk to each other, and each one measures its own results. We built the independent alternative: consented first-party data and AI that give the world’s biggest advertisers, publishers, and platforms one clear view across all of it.

The next era of advertising will run on AI agents, and those agents will need data they can trust. We’re building that foundation, and the agents that act on it. Join us and help build what the industry runs on.

About the Role
Samba is entering Brazil, and this is the role that leads it on the ground. You write the playbook rather than inherit one, working across commercial partnerships, business development, solutions engineering, and market strategy to establish Samba's presence and drive first revenue. This is a contract consultant engagement based in São Paulo, with travel within Brazil expected and potential to extend based on traction.

What You'll Do
  • Own Brazil Revenue: Own commercial strategy for Brazil: identify target accounts, build pipeline, and close initial deals across agencies, advertisers, and media companies, managing the full sales cycle and forecast.
  • Sell Consultatively: Educate the market on Samba's data, measurement, and audience solutions, adapting value propositions to local needs.
  • Build Partnerships: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnerships with local broadcasters, OEMs, data providers, platforms, and technology partners critical to Samba's Brazil infrastructure.
  • Map the Ecosystem: Map the Brazilian media, advertising, and data ecosystem: who the key players are, where the opportunities lie, and which partnerships unlock scale.
  • Be the Technical Lead: Serve as technical point of contact for prospects and partners, scoping integrations, troubleshooting implementations, running demos, responding to RFIs and RFPs, and building proof-of-concept solutions.
  • Write the Entry Strategy: Develop a comprehensive Brazil market entry strategy covering regulatory landscape, competitive positioning, data privacy compliance under LGPD, partnership requirements, and revenue projections.
  • Build the Foundation: Build the operational foundation for Samba's Brazil presence, defining processes, reporting cadences, and success metrics, and briefing international and executive leadership on market developments.

What You Bring
  • An entrepreneurial builder with 10+ years of commercial experience in adtech, media, data, or Data- and Software-as-a-Service, with a track record of launching products, entering new markets, and closing deals in Brazil or Latin America.
  • Commercially sharp and strategically minded, having built pipelines and closed deals while thinking beyond quota, whether from a consulting, market entry, or strategic commercial background.
  • Technically fluent in APIs, data integrations, programmatic ecosystems, and measurement methodologies, able to hold your own in technical conversations and troubleshoot client implementations.
  • Deeply networked across the Brazilian ecosystem, with established relationships at agencies, broadcasters, platforms, advertisers, and holding companies such as Publicis, WPP, Omnicom, Dentsu, Havas, and IPG.
  • Knowledgeable about the Brazilian media and data landscape, including the television ecosystem (Globo, SBT, Record, RedeTV!, pay TV, OTT and streaming, automatic content recognition on smart TVs), audience data, cross-screen measurement, and LGPD.
  • Native or professional fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish is required, alongside the autonomy to set your own priorities and collaborate across sales, product, engineering, legal, and marketing.
  • Comfortable at the executive level, confident presenting to C-suite buyers and navigating complex enterprise negotiations; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree from a top-tier program is preferred.

Samba is an equal opportunity employer.
