Ready to accelerate your career?

Clara is the fastest-growing company in Latin America. We've built the leading solution for companies to make and manage all their payments. We already help over 20,000 large and growing businesses operate with agility and financial clarity through locally issued corporate cards, bill pay, financing, and a powerful B2B platform built for scale.

Clara is backed by some of the most successful investors in the world, including top regional VCs like monashees, Kaszek, and Canary, and leading global funds like Notable Capital, Coatue, DST Global Partners, ICONIQ Growth, General Catalyst, Citi Ventures, SV Angel, Citius, Endeavor Catalyst, and Goldman Sachs - in addition to dozens of angel investors and local family offices.
We’re building the financial infrastructure that powers high-performing organizations across the region. We invite you to join us if you want to be part of a fast-paced environment that will accelerate your career and support you to do some of the best work of your life alongside a passionate and committed team distributed across the Americas.

What you'll do

We're looking for a Country Lead Argentina to spearhead our commercial operations and rapidly scale Clara's presence in the region. In this highly strategic role, you will own and deploy the go-to-market strategy for the Clara Global product across the region, while also orchestrating the rollout of our broader product suite. You will bridge local execution with strategic alignment from our Mexico headquarters, defining what winning looks like for Clara in a net-new territory.

  • Design and execute the regional go-to-market strategy for Clara Global and other core products, ensuring tight collaboration and alignment with our central operations in Mexico.

  • Prioritize and relentlessly execute the generation of new business for the Clara Global product, identifying and closing net-new companies globally that require a modern, multi-currency reimbursements solution.

  • Operate as a strategic advisor to our installed base as your second key priority, working directly with active clients to drive adoption of our new reimbursements solution and increase Total Payment Volume (TPV).

  • Lead consultative, high-impact product demos with CFOs, Finance Directors, and HR leaders, positioning Clara as the definitive alternative to fragmented global expense processes.

  • Generate a high-quality pipeline through targeted outbound strategies using Amplemarket, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and creative multi-channel approaches.

  • Maintain pristine pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting in Hubspot, applying structured qualification frameworks across a high-volume funnel.

  • Act as the internal vanguard for market expansion—relaying cross-border regulatory context, pricing feedback, and market intelligence to Product and Leadership via Slack.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Must haves:

  • Minimum 8 years of enterprise sales or business development experience at a technology or fintech company, with a consistent track record of top performance on strategic accounts.

  • Demonstrated experience selling payments, financial infrastructure, or fintech products to large enterprise customers.

  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and lead commercial negotiations, including bespoke deal structures.

  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and ability to influence across all levels, with high comfort toggling between big-picture strategy and detailed execution.

  • Proven role-specific execution in building territories and pipelines from the ground up, with high adaptability to fast-changing environments.

  • Experience or interest in AI tools (such as N8N) to automate workflows, accelerate prospecting, and evolve sales operations.

  • Hands-on proficiency with CRM tools like Hubspot and outbound prospecting platforms like Amplemarket.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to haves:

  • Basic proficiency in Portuguese or a desire to learn it.

  • Independent analytical skills using spreadsheets, SQL, or BI tools like Metabase to evaluate pipeline coverage and territory data.

  • A good sense of humor.

We don't enforce a minimum number of days for most roles, but you're expected to spend time at the office organically, and be at the office most days during your ramp-up or when required by your leader.
