The role reports to the Senior HR Business Partner for SEEK Commercial Developed Market cluster based in Asia.
The primary function of the role is to business partner with the Hong Kong Commercial Country leadership team to
cohesively drive people programs and initiatives that support a high performing and highly engaged culture in the
business. This is an individual contributor role, and the incumbent will work and collaborate closely with other People & Culture team members to implement the people programs of the business.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the country leadership team on people related matters by providing expertise, support and coaching in all aspects of people management
- Plan and implement people program initiatives and change management programs in alignment with the business goals and strategies.
- Manage the constant improvement and delivery of people strategy and processes, policies and practices which includes development and retention, annual performance management, compensation and benefits review, learning and development activities, organizational design support, employee engagement and wellbeing programs and organisation wide communication.
- Provide advisory support and coaching to Managers’ to manage employee relations and industrial relations matter.
- Collaborate closely with APAC People & Culture teams to deliver people initiatives either on a APAC or country level.
- Oversee all compliance and governance requirements relating to people matters to ensure risks are effectively managed.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA in human resources, business studies, engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in HR generalist role gained from sizable and multinational companies in dynamic and fast moving industry.
- Proven track record in implementing and driving progressive HR practices, initiatives and programs based on analytical HR data trend
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good communication skill and written English
- Ability to “mentor” and influence leadership team and managers on people related matters
- Collaborative and empathetic work style with a high degree of humility
- A passion for the online industry and bias towards innovative cultures
- Possess a business partnering and service mindset when dealing with the various stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and cope with ambiguity
