Job Purpose:
Our Cost Administrator will be responsible for ensuring accurate new cost entry and existing cost updates through management of daily activity of the group email box.Job Responsibilities:
● Accurately create and maintain cost records in the legacy systems.● Comply with daily performance metrics in managing inbound cost activity.
● Support efforts to onboard new category strategies.
● Maintain documentation to support cost entries and updates.
● Organize and retain documentation to support both internal and external audits.
● Identify and communicate potential business critical cost issues to Cost Specialist, Inventory Management, Sourcing, and Category Management and assist in implementing resolution.
● Respond professionally and comprehensively to field requests and inquires.
● Assist Cost Specialist in larger projects and supplier/market change updates.
● Provide additional training, education, and documentation for all functional areas as needed.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
● Strong analytical skills, i.e. problem identification, research, and resolution preferred.
● High comfort level in learning and understanding new software programs.
Work Experience:
● 1-3 years of related job experience.● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.Education:
