Role Summary
Support the Supervisor of Logistics Accounting with Month-end closing and analysis, Quarterly PPR and Annual Plan for Supply Chain.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Support month end accounting close for both A&H & SPD divisions.

Provide various cartage and consignment analysis and prepare and record related journal entries.

Prepare, analyze and record monthly journal entries relating to the Sample Order chargeback.

Provide brand analysis for new product initiatives.

Prepare Quarterly PPR Sales volume analysis used for forecasting and provide Qtr over Qtr sales volume variance reconciliations.

Collect and analyze distribution cost information from the international subsidiaries.

Support the plants and the transportation department in monitoring and clearing workflow documents that affect freight accruals and freight payments for finished goods.
Education and Experience
-
Bachelors degree required, preferably in Accounting/Finance from an accredited institution.

1 - 2 years experience in cost accounting / financial accounting analysis, preferably in a multi-product, multi-plant, multi-warehouse environment.

Supply Chain or Logistics experience is highly desired.

Experience with SAP a plus.
