We’re looking for a Cost Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you’ll provide accurate and timely cost analysis, collaborate with manufacturing teams, and play a key role in ensuring financial efficiency. What You’ll Do:- Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive business decisions.
- Collaborate with department managers and senior leadership to review financial performance.
- Conduct in-depth production data analysis, identifying key cost drivers and variances.
- Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to ensure alignment with budgeted standards.
- Evaluate labor efficiencies and production costs to optimize financial performance.
- Perform manufacturing floor reviews and analyze material rework and scrap.
- Conduct profitability analysis across multiple product lines and customer accounts.
- Partner with engineering and estimating teams to refine cost estimates and production standards.
- Assist in preparing departmental budgets and participating in annual inventory evaluations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Three years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to data evaluation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power BI experience is a plus).
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and software for efficient data analysis.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
