Exciting opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Correlative Logistics Specialist! In this role, you’ll play a critical part in advancing cancer research by ensuring the accurate collection, tracking, and shipment of patient tissue samples to laboratories within and outside MSK, supporting high-impact clinical and translational research.
Role Overview:
- Build and deliver specimen collection kits in accordance with protocol and laboratory manuals.
- Coordinate the transfer of biological samples across MSK facilities in alignment with patient schedules and protocol requirements.”
- Process and ship specimens in compliance with protocol requirements and IATA regulations.
- Complete and reconcile specimen requisition forms, promptly resolving errors or missing information.
- Track, inventory, and document all specimens using digital databases and specimen management systems.
- Promote and maintain a safe laboratory environment by identifying and addressing potential safety risks in collaboration with colleagues and leadership.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in laboratory setting or biological specimen handling.
- EPIC knowledge is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in specimen handling and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple samples, timelines, and protocols simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear and professional communicator with clinical, laboratory, and research partners.

Additional Information:
- Location: NYC
- Schedule: On-site, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
- Reporting to the Clinical Research Supervisor.
- This role requires a minimum of 2 year commitment.
