THE POSITION
- The Senior Manager, Corporate Supply Chain Management, will lead the global SCM strategy for APS, overseeing sites across Malaysia, China, Thailand, India, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. The role is accountable for driving governance, standardization, and performance across Order Fulfilment, Procurement, and Logistics under a hybrid operating model (centralized strategy and decentralized execution).
- The position will establish clear authority, accountability, and escalation frameworks, ensuring alignment across corporate, regional, and site teams while delivering operational excellence, cost optimization, and supply chain resilience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and drive corporate SCM strategies, policies, and governance frameworks across procurement, order fulfilment, and logistics, ensuring alignment and consistent execution across all sites
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and functional reporting structures to reinforce corporate authority while enabling site-level execution
- Develop and enforce standardized processes for demand planning, order management, procurement, and logistics, supported by harmonized KPIs and performance dashboards
- Lead global procurement strategy, including supplier sourcing, onboarding, contract management, AVL governance, and category management, while driving cost optimization, supply assurance, and risk mitigation
- Oversee global logistics and warehousing strategies, ensuring efficient transportation networks, vendor management, cost competitiveness, and compliance with applicable regulations
- Monitor cross-site SCM performance, drive data-driven decision making, and ensure transparency through reporting systems and digital tools, including effective use of ERP/MRP platforms
- Define and enforce a structured, tiered escalation framework, serving as the final escalation point for critical or cross-regional supply chain issues
- Partner closely with regional leaders and site GMs to ensure alignment with corporate SCM priorities, drive accountability, and resolve operational challenges
- Lead corporate-level change management initiatives to support SCM transformation, including centralization, process harmonization, and adoption of new systems and ways of working
- Drive capability development across the SCM organization through structured training, performance management, and best practice sharing
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards, customer requirements, and sustainability objectives, while strengthening supplier performance and supply chain resilience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive supply chain experience, with strong leadership exposure at corporate or regional level
- Proven experience managing global, multi-site supply chain operations within a manufacturing or contract manufacturing environment
- Strong expertise across procurement, order fulfilment, and logistics, with demonstrated ability to drive governance and standardization
- Experience establishing governance models, KPIs, and escalation frameworks in complex organizations
- Proficiency in ERP and supply chain systems and data-driven performance management
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to drive alignment across regions and functions
- Track record in delivering cost optimization, operational excellence, and transformation initiatives
- Knowledge of supplier management, sustainability practices, and global trade compliance
