About The Team

You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Industrials team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Corporate Services, Compliance & Risk Specialist will support the company’s administrative operations and coordinate local compliance and risk control activities in Brazil.

The position will work closely with local business teams, external service providers, professional advisors, and the company’s headquarters in China to ensure that administrative and business activities follow internal policies and applicable local regulations.

This is a hands-on operational position requiring strong organization, attention to detail, risk awareness, integrity, and the ability to coordinate and follow up with multiple stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance and Risk Control

  • Support the implementation of the company’s compliance and risk control policies in Brazil.
  • Conduct preliminary compliance reviews and due diligence on customers, suppliers, and other business partners.
  • Support KYC procedures, sanctions screening, conflict-of-interest checks, third-party risk assessments, and other internal control processes.
  • Review and organize corporate and transactional documents required for compliance assessments and internal approvals.
  • Monitor business and operational activities to identify potential compliance risks, process gaps, irregularities, or suspicious transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance reviews, identified risks, corrective actions, and supporting evidence.
  • Follow up with responsible teams to ensure that risk mitigation actions are completed within the required deadlines.
  • Assist in documenting and handling potential policy violations and compliance incidents.
  • Escalate material risks or suspected violations to local management and the relevant headquarters teams.
  • Coordinate compliance-related matters with Legal, Finance, HR, Procurement, business teams, and headquarters’ Risk Control team.
  • Support internal audits, compliance assessments, anti-corruption initiatives, and employee awareness training.

Office Administration and Facilities

  • Support the daily operation of the Brazil office, ensuring that facilities, equipment, supplies, and shared areas are properly maintained.

Supplier and Service Provider Management

  • Identify and coordinate local suppliers for administrative and corporate services.
  • Request and compare quotations, support supplier selection, and follow up on service delivery.
  • Conduct preliminary checks on supplier documentation and potential compliance risks.
  • Organize invoices, contracts, quotations, and supporting documents for internal approval and payment processes.
  • Monitor service quality, deadlines, documentation, and compliance with agreed conditions.

Asset and Inventory Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of company assets, including laptops, mobile phones, badges, furniture, and other equipment.
  • Support asset allocation, return, inventory verification, maintenance, and replacement processes.
  • Coordinate equipment-related requirements with IT and other relevant teams.
  • Ensure that asset management activities follow the company’s internal procedures and approval requirements.

Corporate Documentation

  • Support the organization, renewal, and filing of corporate documents, licenses, certificates, and administrative records.
  • Coordinate document submissions and follow up with external service providers, government agencies, and internal departments when required.
  • Maintain organized and updated physical and digital records.
  • Ensure that supporting documentation is complete and available for internal controls, compliance reviews, and audits.

Employee and Expatriate Support

  • Provide administrative support to local employees and expatriates regarding office access, equipment, local services, and general workplace needs.
  • Coordinate administrative activities related to employee onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
  • Support expatriates with local administrative procedures in coordination with HR and the relevant internal teams.
  • Ensure that sensitive employee and corporate information is handled confidentially.

Meetings, Events and Business Support

  • Support the organization of internal meetings, employee activities, business visits, and corporate events.
  • Coordinate venues, transportation, meals, materials, and other logistical arrangements.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for visiting employees and executives.
  • Ensure that related expenses and arrangements follow internal policies and approved budgets.

Process Improvement and Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Identify operational risks, control weaknesses, and opportunities to improve administrative processes.
  • Propose and implement practical improvements to increase efficiency, compliance, and traceability.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational bottlenecks and close pending action items.
  • Prepare reports, records, and supporting materials for management and headquarters when required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Law, Economics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in corporate services, compliance, internal controls, risk management, audit, office administration, or related activities.
  • Experience reviewing corporate documents and coordinating suppliers, invoices, contracts, and administrative processes.
  • Knowledge of Brazilian corporate compliance, anti-corruption, data protection, and internal control requirements.
  • Experience with third-party due diligence, KYC, sanctions screening, or risk assessment is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities, stakeholders, and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Native or fluent Portuguese.
  • Professional working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
  • English is considered a strong advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and professional judgment.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused profile.
